KETTLITZ-Medialub carving oil 150 is a chainsaw lubricant based on renewable biological/ biodegradable resources, developed for precision woodworking. Its field of use primarily consists of wood carving and wood craft.
For this kind of application, the carving oil only produces very little to no smoke as well as no smell during its usage. This enables a longer, cleaner and more concentrated workflow.
Practical tests have shown, that KETTLITZ-Medialub carving oil 150 provides a very stable, reliable lubrication effect even during longer working periods and at higher temperatures. The coating of the chain is strong and ensures that the spraying loss of material can be reduced to a minimum. The material has no staining/discoloring effect on the wood.
Due to a good additive package, the product can be used over a wide temperature range. This enables its usage during the whole year. Even during storage time, the usual crystallization of biological chainsaw lubricant is considerably reduced.
As a sustainable product, KETTLITZ-Medialub carving oil 150 is free of mineral oil as well as free of synthetic components. This ensures its biodegradability. The oil is being bottled in recycled canisters (GVÖ-seal). The product is not water soluble. This enables, in case of a leakage, that the oil stays in the upper layers of earth which prevents contamination of the groundwater.
KETTLITZ-Medialub carving oil 150 must not be mixed with water-based products, synthetic- or mineral oil in order to prevent technical malfunctions. The mixing can reduce the lubrication performance.
