KETTLITZ-Medialub GS 100 is a special lubricant based on mineral oil and can be applied over a broad temperature range.
Special additives prevent the product from premature aging, optimize the viscosity behaviour and improve the adhesion and gliding properties. When used at moveable metal parts, the friction is strongly reduced and the wear at said parts is dramatically reduced.
KETTLITZ-Medialub GS 100 can be used as a gate saw oil for the lubrication of transport chains, bearings, bolts, joints and sliding guides. If the viscosity is not prescribed by the machine manufacturer, this depends on the type of individual lubrication spots. KETTLITZ-Medialub GS 100 prevents sawdust, resins or other impurities from sticking to metal parts (for instance the saw blades), which is a particularly positive effect for gate saws, characterized by high requirements with respect to precision (the sawblade is passed through guides with very close tolerances).
Medialub GS 100 cannot be mixed with vegetabile or watermixable oils. The mixing may result in technical defects and/or processing could be considerable more difficult.
